1. Overview
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all business-to-business transactions conducted through the Peptx platform operated by PX Reagents Ltd ("Company", "we", "us"). By placing an order, you ("Buyer", "Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. This platform is operated as a B2B research-reagent marketplace; if you are a consumer within the meaning of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, please contact us before placing an order as separate terms may apply.
2. Eligibility
Our products are sold exclusively to:
- Registered research institutions and laboratories
- Licensed pharmaceutical companies
- Accredited universities and academic research departments
- Qualified B2B buyers with verifiable business or research credentials
We reserve the right to request proof of institutional affiliation or business registration before processing any order. All buyers must be aged 18 or over.
3. Product Use Restrictions
All products sold through Peptx are intended strictly for in vitro laboratory and research use only. Products are NOT licensed medicinal products and must NOT be used for human consumption, human or veterinary administration, clinical investigation, food production, or any diagnostic or therapeutic purpose. PX Reagents Ltd makes no medical claims and does not supply licensed medicinal products. By purchasing, the Buyer warrants that: (a) they are a qualified research professional or authorised institutional buyer; (b) they are aged 18 or over; (c) they will use all products exclusively for legitimate laboratory research; and (d) they will comply with all applicable laws governing the purchase, storage, handling and use of research reagents in their jurisdiction.
PX Reagents Ltd operates as a pharmaceutical and research-reagent wholesale business. We supply products strictly for in vitro laboratory research. We accept no responsibility whatsoever for any use of our products outside of that scope, including but not limited to human or animal administration, resale into consumer channels, compounding, clinical use, or importation into any jurisdiction where the Buyer is not lawfully permitted to receive research reagents. All such risk, liability and regulatory exposure rests solely and exclusively with the Buyer.
4. Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ)
All wholesale orders are subject to a minimum order quantity of 1 Box per SKU, where 1 Box equals 10 vials or 3 tubs of the same compound. Capsule orders ship in 30 or 60 count bottles with their own MOQ shown on each listing. Single-vial and pen orders from UK stock have no box MOQ. Share Buy allows verified buyers to split a single 10-vial Box across multiple participants.
5. Pricing & Payment
- Prices are quoted in USD and converted to GBP/EUR using live FX rates refreshed weekly, rounded up
- Prices are exclusive of applicable VAT, customs duties, and import fees
- Accepted methods: Fena Instant Bank Pay for UK open banking, a secure Tide payment page for international bank transfer or card, and crypto via NOWPayments on request
- Orders are processed once funds clear. Guest checkouts receive a secure payment link by email
- We reserve the right to adjust pricing without prior notice
- Volume discounts and verified-COA community credits are available. Contact our sales team for custom quotes
6. Shipping & Delivery
- Orders ship directly from the manufacturing facility or our UK stock hub
- Standard wholesale delivery: 7-15 day ship. UK-stock vials and pens: 2-10 business days. Capsules: 3-5 weeks per production batch
- Express shipping available upon request at additional cost
- Tracking information provided for all shipments
- Restricted destinations: we do not ship to Russia, Belarus, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, South America, China, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Israel, or any country in Africa. Orders with a delivery address in these regions will be cancelled before dispatch and refunded in full
- Buyer is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees and any local licensing or permit requirements applicable to research reagents in the destination jurisdiction
- Peptx is not liable for delays caused by customs, carrier issues, or force majeure events
- Customs seizures and lost shipments: where a shipment is seized, destroyed by customs, or confirmed lost in transit to a permitted destination, our sole remedy is a one-time free reshipment of the affected items. Reshipments are dispatched at our discretion and are not offered as a cash refund. Repeated seizures to the same address may result in that address being blocked for future orders
- It is the Buyer's sole responsibility to confirm that import and possession of research reagents is lawful in their jurisdiction before ordering. Peptx accepts no responsibility for any legal, regulatory or enforcement consequences arising from importation into a jurisdiction where the Buyer is not permitted to receive research reagents
7. Quality Assurance
- Suppliers are vetted across multiple independent signals: testing at accredited ISO 17025 labs, plus live community feedback from research forums
- Buyers may independently verify purity through accredited ISO 17025 third-party labs
- Minimum purity threshold of 99% for all peptide research reagents (excluding items marked ✱), backed by a 14-day refund or replacement right on production of an accredited independent third-party lab report. This is a research-reagent characterisation standard and does not constitute a warranty of fitness for any human or veterinary use.
- Suppliers failing quality benchmarks or community trust are immediately removed from our network
8. Non-Cancellation, Non-Return & Replacement Policy
All orders placed through Peptx are B2B wholesale supply contracts for research reagents. As such, and consistent with standard pharmaceutical wholesale trade terms, orders are strictly non-cancellable and goods are non-returnable once payment has cleared and the order has entered production or dispatch. Change of mind, incorrect ordering, delayed research timelines, or a change in the Buyer's regulatory position are not grounds for cancellation, return or refund.
Where a legitimate claim is accepted, our remedy is replacement of the affected items, not a cash refund. Accepted claim categories:
- Purity claims: 14-day window from delivery, backed by an accredited ISO 17025 third-party lab report. Sealed vials returning below the product's stated guaranteed minimum purity, or a failed sterility/endotoxin result on a sealed vial, are replaced free of charge. Items marked with an asterisk (✱) are excluded from the purity guarantee
- Damaged shipments: notify us within 24 hours of receipt with photographic evidence of the outer packaging and affected vials. Approved claims are replaced in the next scheduled dispatch
- Incorrect items: notify us within 24 hours of receipt. We will dispatch the correct items and, where practical, arrange collection of the incorrect items
- Customs seizure or loss in transit: handled under Section 6 above — one-time free reshipment, no cash refund
Products that have been opened, reconstituted, used, decanted, mislabelled by the Buyer, or stored outside the recommended conditions are not eligible for replacement under any circumstances. Cash refunds are only issued where we are legally required to do so, or where we are unable to fulfil a replacement within a reasonable period.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this platform, including logos, product descriptions, images, and pricing data, is the property of PX Reagents Ltd and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
PX Reagents Ltd acts as a marketplace connecting buyers with verified third-party suppliers and is not the manufacturer of the products listed. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable law. Subject to the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, PX Reagents Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use of our products or platform, including loss of profit, loss of data or business interruption. Our total aggregate liability for any single claim shall not exceed the value of the specific order giving rise to that claim.
Without limiting the generality of the above, PX Reagents Ltd shall have no liability whatsoever for: (i) use of products by the Buyer or any third party in a manner inconsistent with their labelled research-use-only status; (ii) importation, possession, distribution or use of products in any jurisdiction where such activity is restricted, licensed or prohibited; (iii) enforcement action, customs seizure, or civil or criminal proceedings brought against the Buyer or its end recipients; or (iv) any decision by the Buyer to onward-supply, repackage or re-label the products. The Buyer indemnifies PX Reagents Ltd against all losses, claims and costs arising from any such use.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
12. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. The updated Terms will always be available at peptx.co.uk/terms. Continued use after non-material updates does not constitute consent to any materially new processing or contractual obligation.
13. Consumer Rights & Distance Selling
This platform is operated exclusively as a B2B research-reagent marketplace. Orders are accepted only from verified institutional buyers, registered businesses and qualified research professionals. These Terms are therefore entered into as business-to-business contracts and the distance-selling cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 do not apply to B2B purchases.
If, exceptionally, a transaction is determined to involve a consumer under applicable law, that consumer retains a 14-day right to cancel from the date of delivery, subject to the exclusion for goods that are liable to deteriorate rapidly or sealed goods unsuitable for return once opened (as applies to research compounds once the sealed packaging has been broken). To exercise a consumer right to cancel, contact legal@peptx.co.uk within 14 days of delivery.
14. Data Protection
The processing of personal data in connection with these Terms is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement. PX Reagents Ltd is the data controller for UK GDPR purposes.
For questions regarding these Terms, contact us at legal@peptx.co.uk. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
