What this covers
This page lists every cookie and item of browser storage we use on peptx.co.uk, what it is for and how long it is kept. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
What we store
Everything below is needed for the site to work or for a feature you use. None of it is used for advertising or to follow you across other websites.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Kept |
|---|---|---|---|
__cf_bm | Cookie (Cloudflare) | Tells real visitors from bots, to protect the site | 30 minutes |
Sign-in token | Local storage | Keeps you signed in to your account | Until you sign out or it expires |
peptide-cart, peptide-cart-version | Local storage | Keeps your basket between visits | Until your basket empties or you clear it |
peptx_age_confirmed_v1 | Local storage | Remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or over | Until you clear it |
vial_shipping_v2 | Local storage | Fills in the delivery details you used last time on this device | Until you clear them at checkout or in your browser |
peptx_promo_code, peptx_referral | Local storage | Holds a discount code or referral link you arrived with until checkout | Until used or cleared |
Banner and pop-up flags | Local storage | Remembers that you closed a notice, so it is not shown again | Until you clear them |
peptx_session_id | Session storage | A random ID for this visit, used for our own page-view and checkout counts | Until you close the tab |
px_version_reload | Session storage | Reloads the page once after we release a new version | Until you close the tab |
peptx_entry_referrer | Session storage | The site you came from, so our own visit counts show the right source | Until you close the tab |
px-ukx-mode | Local storage | Remembers light or dark mode if you change it | Until you clear it |
px-waitlist-joined | Local storage | Shows which back-in-stock lists you have joined on this device | Until you clear it |
peptx-wholesale-order-v1, peptx-wholesale-placed-v1, ws-water-v1, px_supersede_wholesale_order | Local storage | Keeps a wholesale order you are building, including the water option, and the one you just placed | Until you place or clear it |
px-sale-live-until, px-news-live-until | Local storage | Remembers when an offer or notice ends, so it hides on time | Until it ends |
px-password-recovery, lovable:chunk-reload | Session storage | Finishes a password reset link, and reloads the page once if part of it failed to load | Until you close the tab |
Analytics
We count page views, basket and checkout steps in our own database, using the visit ID above. This is first-party: it is not shared or sold, not used to build advertising profiles, and not used to track you across other sites. If you would rather not be counted, use your browser’s private mode or block site storage.
Advertising
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first.
Controlling cookies and storage
You can delete or block cookies and clear site storage in your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking the storage above will stop parts of the site working: you will not stay signed in or keep a basket.
